Major Perfume Fair 2011 Will Be Hold In Sharjah

December 20, 2010

Sharjah – the third largest emirate of the United Arab Emirates – will hold a new consumer fair targeting the perfumes industry in association with the Kuwait International Fair (KIF).

The agreement to manage the show, Parfum 2011, in Sarajah was signed in Kuwait City recently by Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, Director-General of Expo Centre Sharjah, and Abdul Rahman Mohammed Nassar, CEO of KIF.

Al Midfa commented: “To help [the] recovery from the economic downturn, the exhibition industry has to co-operate rather than compete. We at Expo Centre Sharjah are co-operating with other international exhibitions and exploring new markets.”

Parfum 2011 is considered one of the most expensive region’s best consumer fairs. Usually the popular International Perfumes & Cosmetics Exhibition is hold in the last week of March. It is known as the largest perfume exhibition in Kuwait where more than 100 companies showcase their beauty products.

Al Midfa added: “We are constantly striving to benefit from the experience of others in the field of exhibition organisation and management. KIF is pretty strong in this field and it is natural to share our experiences.”

“Another interesting fact is that, Parfum 2011 will be making its debut alongside our popular consumer fair, the Perfect Wedding Show. The Perfect Wedding Show, which received nearly 20,000 visitors for its previous show, will offer a huge advantage in the form of common visitors and additional business opportunities for exhibitors at Parfum 2011. Networking opportunities are also doubled.”
