Chanel N°19 Poudré Perfume for Women

September 13, 2011

It is a big honor to describe one of the most timeless and legendary perfumes that has left a big mark in the perfumery industry of today. Chanel Perfumes doesn’t need words to be described, because they speak by themselves. Truly elegant, aristocratic and  graceful are tininess words besides their greatness.

On August 19th, 2011 Coco Chanel turned 40 years since her death. Thanks to this huge and important event, the fashion house of Chanel launched a tribute perfume N°19 Poudré Perfume for Women.  Chanel N°19 Poudré comes in a softer and more powdery way than the original Chanel N°19 – created by Coco before her death in 1971.

“It is the day of my birthday, August 19. I was born under the sign of Leo -the lion. And I am just like the lion: I will bring out my claws to protect myself against being hurt. But believe me, it is harder for me to lash out at someone than to have someone lash out at me”.

Chanel N°19 Poudré is created by famous Chanel house perfumer Jacques Polge. This elegant and luxurious perfume blends the main ingredients iris and musk. The iris note is known for its whimsical behavior, that’s why it was difficult to obtain iris in a big quantity as the main ingredient. Other sensual notes include neroli, jasmine, white musk, galbanum, Tonka bean and vetiver.

Chanel N°19 remains brand’s iconic and one of the most praised perfumes of all time. However, the new version N°19 Poudré will captivate the younger audience with its mild and more thrilling sensation.

Chanel N°19 Poudré is softer and warmer with a quick calm down on the skin leaving it mouth-wateringly and supple.
