Perfect Perfumes for Office Wear

December 29, 2010

Perfume is always an accessory that defines a person’s taste, mood and feeling. Today people cannot imagine day without their second invisible skin. Perfumes play a unique role in everyone’s life and without them we are simple unfulfilled. Just the same as we have our special clothing for different occasions, the same we should have a range of perfumes to match the season and the mood. Be it either a party, a holiday, an evening dinner or office, the perfume should correspond its status. Definitely there are not perfumes specially designed for office or occasional wear, but at least there are some distinguishing notes that make them specific.

However, the most terrible thing about perfumes is choosing the perfect perfume for office wear. Generally speaking our days is more about the time spent at work, so the perfume should satisfy other working people and all the requirements. Today, we have a variety of perfumes to choose starting with floral, woody, citrus, summer, and ending with fresh, oriental scents. Any person wants to leave a good first impression, so the perfume should be appropriate for a certain environment and time.

Anyone who wants to leave an astonishing impression can use oriental and citrus fragrances like L de Lolita Lempicka by Lolita Lempicka, Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline by Bvlgari, Fantasy by Britney Spears. Even though I prefer more fresh and light fragrances – clean perfumes are more perfect for people with a wild or hectic schedule. Floral perfumes like Gardenia Elizabeth Taylor, Marc Jacobs Daisy, Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, 5th Avenue by Elizabeth Arden are designed for romantic wear, however, an office wear will also be acceptable, unless connoisseurs do not spray on them too much. For men – who want to look classic and elegant – a perfect scent would be woody or clean. Perfect woody fragrances for men would be Gucci pour Homme by Gucci, Yatagan by Caron, and other manly-man scents. It would be ideal for all workers to wear only fresh, invigorating and light perfumes in order to maintain the refreshing morning mood in the office. The perfumes that I definitely would not recommend for office wear would be Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne and Dolce and Gabbana The One.

Perfume is a very personal image-maker, it is important to always test a perfume fully for a good while before buying it. Purchasing a perfume has always been considered as an art, because it needs to be practiced. Also remember that anytime you buy a perfume for office wear, it shouldn’t be overpowering, strong nor too sweet. Since you are working with more people in a professional environment, the perfect scent should reflect your personality but not to draw attention away from work activities. Any strong perfume can create a difficult to work atmosphere and could cause dizziness headache. Think about others any time you spray or choose a perfume for your office hours. Excellent perfumes for office wear would include Ralph Lauren Blue, Elle by Yves Saint Lauren, Emerald Dream by Estee Lauder, all DKNY Be Delicious, Givenchy Blue Label, Davidoff Cool Water, Pure Cedrat by Azzaro, Ferre Acqua Azzurra for Men by Gianfranco Ferre and other optimistic and cheerful fragrances.

  3. Rightly pointed out. However, I believe you can wear whatever you want in office but it is the volume of perfume that you apply matters. You dont have to take bath with it. I really like yacht man blue for my office. Just to share.
