The name Forbidden Rose, which is a metaphor, makes this perfume more wanted and desired. Forbidden Rose is the Canadian singer Avril Lavigne’s second fragrance that blends no roses within. Even though the name suggests a forbidden rose, the fragrance itself blends a sparkling fusion of fruity and woody notes.
“The fragrance opens with the forbidden fruit itself – the ever-enchanting red apple, enhanced by delicious wine peach. The story then unfolds with notes of white lotus, adding pureness and beauty. The base of the fragrance shines through, exuding warmth through its vanilla and sweet praline accents. A deep woody undertone finally emerges, completing Forbidden Rose’s captivating tale,” – Avril Lavigne.
Forbidden Rose was released in July 2010 and still is one of the best-selling perfumes among teenagers. The fragrance is sealed in an attractive violet bottle with a black rose as a stopper. Perfume’s purple, black and shining silver colors leave an impression of a magic charm of life. Avril Lavigne Forbidden Rose advertising campaign was made by Dusan Reljin and directed by Fred Garcon.
Even though Avril Lavigne is not one of my favorite singers, her perfumes worth a try. Although it may seem that Forbidden Rose is a strong and intoxicating fragrance, it is a nice and lovely perfume for all Avril Lavigne fans. Avril Lavign Forbidden Rose describes the singer’s wild, rock spirit in a flirty and seductive manner. This perfume won’t make you unnoticed.
Avril Lavigne Forbidden Rose is available in 30 ml and 50 ml Eau de Parfum, 200 ml Shower Gel, 200 ml Body Lotion and 150 ml Deodorant Spray.
